Methodology
A projection on its own tells you nothing — the useful question is how far it sits from the number a book is willing to post. McAnalytics puts the two side by side for every skill-position market and sorts by the gap, so the shortlist is the handful of lines that genuinely disagree with the projection rather than the whole board.
Nothing is presented as a lock. The board is a filter that shortens the list you research by hand, and every projection carries the market price beside it so you can see exactly how much of the gap is real disagreement and how much is just vig.
These figures are descriptive league rates and backtested model diagnostics, not a performance claim. Past results do not predict future outcomes. No. There is no pick service, no tout, no Telegram channel. The product is a research dashboard: projections, hit rates, defensive splits and line movement, presented so you can reach your own conclusion. Every number on the site is sourced and every model figure is labelled as a diagnostic rather than a promise.
For each player market we hold two numbers side by side: an independent statistical projection of the outcome, and the corresponding published market line. When those disagree by a meaningful margin, that market is worth a closer look. It is a way to shorten a board of hundreds of lines down to the handful that warrant real research — it is not a recommendation to act on any of them.
Because a single 'total defense' ranking hides the thing you need. A team can be top five overall while conceding heavily to tight ends, or stout against the run while its secondary is routinely beaten. Splitting what a defense allows to QBs, RBs, WRs and TEs separately is the only way to see the matchup a specific player is actually walking into.
Game logs and season splits update after each game finalises. Odds and posted lines refresh continuously through the week, so the number you see beside a projection reflects the current market rather than a stale open.
